CB: When a big new movie comes out, people take notice. When a genre movie comes out, people start speculating. When a Star Wars movie comes out, apparently people become ravenous beasts who want to pick it apart until it's a bleeding carcass of bantha meat.
It comes from the mystery. Star Wars movies mean a lot to people, and this one holds a lot of promise. The filmmakers of Star Wars: The Force Awakens are saying all the right things, from "Practical effects" to "respecting the history." They've brought the principal players like Han, Luke, and Leia back, supporters like R2-D2, C-3PO, and Chewbacca, and introduced newbies like Poe Dameron, Rey, and Finn and villains Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, and the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke and General Hux. And those newcomers? Man oh man are they endearing.
