CB: In February, Marvel announced that The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss had been added to the cast of Jessica Jones they made no mention who she was playing in the Netflix series, but today at New York Comic Con they finally let the cat out of the bag.
Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb announced that Moss is playing Jeryn Hogarth. The character should be familiar to Marvel Comics fans as he, yes he, is a close ally of Danny Rand, better known as Iron Fist. He's a lawyer that worked for Danny's father Wendell Rand and when he passed away Jeryn looked after Danny and the family's estate. He provided Danny and his friend/partner Luke Cage with legal and business advice for their Heroes for Hire team.
The Doomsday Cult of Antares De La Luz Review: The documentary explores how the cult members were coerced in the group and made accomplice of heinous crimes.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Why did they feel the need to gender swap a character when the show has a female lead. It seems completely pointless, like there isn't another female Marvel character Carrie-Anne Moss could play.
Its fine. These are small steps, but Ill take them. Just make sure MORE minorities are represented. We don't live in a white world only no matter what the press tries to impress upon us.
Carrie-Anne Moss is sure a great bet for any show. Can't wait 'til November.
