Marvel Is Indeed Still Releasing 'Inhumans' To Theaters In 2019

Hitfix: Marvel is making an "Inhumans" movie.

Yes, I know they already announced that they were making an "Inhumans" movie, going so far as to give the film a date and everything, and last year, they started seeding the idea of the Inhumans on the show "Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD," going so far as to transform Skye, one of the main characters of the series, into an Inhuman. This season, she's beginning to get comfortable with her powers, and she's hunting for new Inhumans who she can help.

Good but they better not relate it in anyway to Agents of Shield.

RetrospectRealm3117d ago (Edited 3117d ago )

You already know that's happening though... Lol The season 2 tagline was literally "Are You Inhuman?" Not to mention, SHIELD is actually a good show now.

-Foxtrot3117d ago

No I mean the film which comes out better not have any references to the crappy series.....no cross overs or references

Don't see why people should be punished for not watching the series to understand references/characters/plot points in the film.

Universal 083117d ago

I thought that was the season 3 tagline lol

NCAzrael3117d ago

Only it's not really a crappy series anymore. Season 2 did a lot to improve on things, and season 3 is looking to be even better. Personally I hope they have plenty of crossovers and references since it really feels like AoS is where they're going to focus all of their attention on building the Inhumans. It's only fair that they get some of the movie love too.

RetrospectRealm3117d ago

Stuff like that obviously won't happen though. Marvel knows not everyone watches the show so there's no use even assuming that would happen.

-Foxtrot3117d ago

You never know, what if they want more people to watch the show. Seems like they are forcing it these days, should have been cancelled ages ago but it just keeps on going despite finding better success in a mini series (Agent Carter) and their darker shows on Netflix.

mixelon3117d ago

I dunno, there's no reason they can't have characters pass from one to another.. Coulson being the obvious one, and Daisy being another possibility. It's not like you have to know 100% of every bit of back-story.

TheSaint3116d ago

Why? It's a good show.

Better than a lot of crap that gets renewed.

My_Outer_Heaven3116d ago

The ignorance in strong with you.

Of friggin course the Agents of Shield will undoubtedly relate to the Inhumans movie just like the show relates to all the other Marvel films because they share the same cinematic universe.

Joss Whedon is the master of cross-overs ( also with untimely deaths of any of the main characters ) and nobody still doesn't get that?

Just watch Buffy/Angel.

NCAzrael3117d ago

Except that Joss Whedon is done with the Marvel movies and is moving on to other things. Granted, it remains to be seen if he'll stay on as a kind of steward for the MCU and help keep things running, but he won't be directly involved with any of the movies anymore.

That said, I think he's built enough of the groundwork to give other people a good chance at continuing his success.

gunnerforlife3116d ago

Thank god he's done. That last avengers movie was a let down.

scark923116d ago

They would be inhuman not to release it

My_Outer_Heaven3116d ago

Ha, I see what you did there and I respect you for it! :-p

scark923116d ago (Edited 3116d ago )

If only this was real respect and I can be popular and have cool things.
