411 Mania - "In the end, this is far from the worst Gotham has to offer: there are some quality moments in what feels like another pilot, aka a reboot from last year. Still, the episode is overstuffed with characters and plotlines that probably could have been saved for later. On top of this, the tone is all over the place, with the violence and campiness barely working: is it trying to be serious or is it going for extremely bleak humor – I do not even think the writers know. However, this could lead to a good season, as Heller is obviously building toward a bigger picture: we will just have to wait and see."
