Deadline: This was a pretty dour weekend at the international box office with the Top 3 titles off by 61% compared to last year. This go-round, it’s Terminator: Genisys leading the pack, followed by Hitman: Agent 47 and Minions. T:G is benefitting from being the first post-blackout pic to hit China; Hitman expanded to Russia and Venezuela; and Minions is playing the long game as it readies a Middle Kingdom bow in about a week’s time. Last year, the Top 3 were Expendables 3, Lucy and Hercules. Compared to last week, the Top 10 studio movies are down 28%, and with local-language pics included, the Top 10 is off by 34%. For the first time in a long time, there were only two Asian movies in the Top 10: holdovers The Dead End (China) and Korea’s Veteran.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
