Mr Holmes Review - Screenhall

This movie’s acting is its best quality with McKellen and Parker putting in some truly enjoyable performances. The only real weaknesses this movie has is also one of its strengths – it gives you a look into the life of Holmes that we’ve never seen. Unfortunately, I think there was good reason behind us not seeing this aspect of his life. Nothing ever really happens, so there isn’t really anything to get too excited about. This movie is well-acted and well-made but it’s a pretty boring story and not really on the level (entertainment wise) of the other versions of Sherlock.
