Paramount announced today that the Tom Cruise action vehicle Jack Reacher 2 will be opening on Oct. 21, 2016. The sequel reunites Cruise with his Last Samurai director Edward Zwick, who along with Marshall Herskovitz is rewriting the Richard Wenk script.
