Sometimes the best way to deal with having an overwhelming amount of content to cover in a short period of time is simply to gloss over the small stuff and focus on the large details. “Reborn”, the series finale of Falling Skies, exceeds that by also glossing over the big moments as well. The culmination of five years of story that chronicled humanity's struggle to overcome all odds and thwart a highly advanced alien race came to an abrupt conclusion with what ended up being a rehash of some iconic visuals from Aliens and a let’s-make-everyone-happy conclusion for all involved.
