J.J. Abrams brought “Star Trek” to a whole new world of fans when he rebooted the original ’60s TV show into a series of pulse-pounding action movies. But although he’s moved on to “Star Wars Episode VII” these days, the third installment is in the incredibly good hands of director Justin Lin, who’s best known for his incredible work on the “Fast and Furious” series.
But what’s it like no longer having Abrams on the “Star Trek” set? While speaking to MTV News during a press event for “Hitman: Agent 47,” Enterprise Science Officer Zachary Quinto (aka Spock) remarked that things are definitely much different without him — but that Lin more than up to the challenge of directing “Star Trek Beyond.”
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
