Nerd Rock from the Sun writes: "Marvel led me to believe the film was going to be a ‘cut n shut’ mess of both Wright and Joe Cornish’s work. Also, we could see from the trailers that Scott Lang would probably only be able to shrink in size and not become the colossus that is Giant-Man which, on paper, doesn’t sound like a superpower worthy of the silver screen. Fans were apprehensive about this film and probably had every right to be."
