Deadline: Director Alex Ranarivelo has signed on to helm the drama Running Wild, for Forrest Lucas and Ali Afshar’s newly launched ESX Entertainment. The film follows a widowed ranch owner who works with ex convicts to rehabilitate the wild horses that wander onto her property. In doing so she saves her ranch, but must confront prejudice, greed, vanity and bureaucracy while learning that helping other living creatures is a great remedy for misfortune.
