Deadline: Universal has changed the release date for its Seth Rogen-Zac Efron Neighbors 2, moving the sequel from its original May 13 release date to May 20, 2016. That’s the weekend just before Memorial Day weekend, which falls during the span of May 27-30. Originally, Neighbors 2 was going up against Paramount’s reboot of Friday the 13th. Now Neighbors 2 will be vying for adults twentysomethings in a frame that includes Sony Animation’s The Angry Birds and Warner Bros. Shane Black thriller The Nice Guys starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling.
