Deadline: Miguel Arteta will direct an adaptation of the Jennifer Niven YA novel All The Bright Places for Demarest Media and The Mazur/Kaplan Company. Elle Fanning is attached to star in the film, which will be scripted by Nivel. Demarest is funding and producing alongside Mazur/Kaplan. The plan is for Fanning to play a young girl who learns to live from a boy who intends to die. Random House Children’s Books/Knope Books For Young Readers published the book earlier this year and it is on the bestseller list.
