The newest DC animated film is hitting blu-ray this week, and while it skews wildly from the current films' continuity, it's a breath of fresh air, and one of their best releases yet.
It's a great concept, subverting class superheroes and whatnot, but the movie falls back on formula and the last half is just run of the mill stuff. I was really disappointed because some of the shorts they released prior to this were insane, the superman one in particular.
Seriously, one of the most fun animated films I've seen in a while.
