Deadline: FX’s streak has ended. Following lukewarm reviews and lackluster ratings, FX has opted not to proceed with a second season of comedy The Comedians, starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad. This marks the first FX live-action original series since the 2011 Lights Out not to get a second season. (The tally does not include the 10-90 comedies Partners and Saint George, which were acquired under a different business model.)
