Deadline: Open Road Films has picked up U.S. rights to Garry Marshall’s Mother’s Day, the latest in the director’s holiday movie series which includes New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day. The film, which stars Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis, follows the lives of several mothers leading up to the title holiday. Open Road will release Mother’s Day wide on April 29, 2016, the weekend prior to Mother’s Day. Production starts in Atlanta next month.
