You can’t always trust always trust a trailer. Why? Because the purpose of a trailer is to sell a product to a mass audience at whatever cost. Editors take the best or most marketable parts of entire films and condense the footage into little showreels. And given that here are no rules regarding how you depict any given movie in a trailer, it’s entirely possible to make a picture look entirely different from its finished product.
