Deadline: Ant-Man will loom large at the global box office this weekend with an anticipated haul of $115M-$125M, but stateside, the Disney/Marvel superhero is in a staring contest with Universal/Illumination Entertainment’s Minions. Ant-Man is set to have a weekend in the low-$60Ms at an estimated 3,800 theaters with some extra swelling powers from 3,100 3D locales, 361 Imax hubs, 388 premium large format and 133 Dbox locations. Overseas, it’s in 50 territories.
