The recently announced third season of Twin Peaks has had its fair share of drama. A contract dispute between Showtime and David Lynch held up production for a bit, and then Lynch said he wouldn’t be returning to direct the third season at all. The internet—and the cast—promptly freaked out. And then Lynch was like, “that gum you like is coming back in style” and announced he was coming back to his baby.
