IMO, DC doesn't get enough love. Without DC there is no Marvel! DC laid the foundation for comic books, and Marvel wisely capitalized on it (cannibalizing plenty of DC properties along the way). DC's run in the 80s was one of the all time greatest runs in comic book history. What they accomplished with graphic novels, expanding on the medium, was just as significant as Marvel's run in the silver age.

I'm looking forward to see what WB has in store for DC's properties. I have grown tired of the producer driven films in Disney's catalogue, and I'm more excited to see what results an emphasis on the actual directors will yield on WB's end.

For all of it's flaws, MoS actually took risks instead of playing it safe. It was a refreshing change of pace from the cinematic pabulum we have come to know from Disney.
