Deadline: With most of America getting ready for the long Fourth of July weekend, primetime television took a bit of a backseat last night. Almost everyone was down and so was overall usage among adults 18-49, which took an 8% decline from last week. Let’s actually give shout-outs where shout-outs are due: the still cancelled Hannibal (0.4/1), the second week of the sixth season of Rookie Blue (0.6/2), and Beauty And The Beast (0.2/1) all bucked the trend to stay even with their June 25 results – which were all series lows. Otherwise, ratings gravity had everyone in its pull last night with CBS’ Under The Dome (1.0/4) falling the most. The second week of the third season of the drama based on a Stephen King novel fell 23% in the key demo from its two-hour launch the week before.
