A.D. The Bible Continues will not be continuing. NBC is not commenting, but it is understood that the network has opted not to go forward with a second installment of Mark Burnett and Roma Downey’s follow-up to their blockbuster miniseries The Bible.
I'm not surprised. I was eager to watch this, but it kind of dragged on. They should just focus on 2-part events or a single TV movie every Easter and Christmas. I think that would have a longer and more effective life on the small screen.
