We’re half way through 2015 and it’s been a predictably up and down year when it comes to movies. Blockbusters such as Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Furious 7 delivered more of the same, pleasing the multiplex crowds even if they hardly offered anything new, while Mad Max: Fury Road came almost out of nowhere and showed us just how exceptional action movies can be.
