EB: HBO has revealed that it plans to re-release the first four seasons of Game of Thrones in new steelbook collector cases that also will sport Dolby Atmos sound technology for the first time.
The new steelbooks will cost $79.98 and will feature cover art that is inspired by the show’s opening credits. Seasons 1 and 2 will be released on November 3, 2015, and the next two seasons will follow shortly after. The real draw here is if you own a Dolby Atmos home theater setup, because the technology can change the way Game of Thrones sounds if you have the right gear.
