When I first heard about a hacker drama called Mr. Robot, that starred Christian Slater as the titular character, I was expecting something like Royal Pains with hackers, or perhaps Slater’s own late comedy series Breaking In (great show by the way). When I was contacted with the offer of a screener, I was excited, our first screener after all. What I got was very different than what I expected. Much more interesting, much more serious, much better. USA's hacker drama Mr Robot channels Fight Club, and might just redefine USA's identity as a content creator.
