A Look Inside Marvel's 'Phase 2' Of Netflix Shows

HH

There’s no doubt that TV is in a weird place. Feature films have become king, and are only grudgingly cooperating with their counterparts on the small screen, leaving them mere scraps to work with. Instead of being in on the entire process, television programs are forced to adjust their series in order to keep up with the movies.

I think the Punisher would be better if he appeaered very brefiefly in AKA Jessicaa Jones then appeaered in a few episodes of Daredevil. Then they can get the reaction from the audience.

If it's good they can do a small TV show and then do a film.

However they will have to think of a way to do it because the Punisher wasn't really about story most of the time, it was about action, guns, killing etc. Wouldn't want them to make Frank look soft.

If they do Blade it should be set in the UK. I suppose the Vampires could be explained as a mutation thing than super natural, some vampire films have done that like Daybreakers.

I don't see why Marvel don't use Netflix more, especially for Hawkeye and Blackwidow. I would watch a 3 part story with them involved.

I'd really like to see a Blade and Punisher series. I think with something like Netflix they can do so much more with the material. Daredevil was simply an outstanding piece of TV making in my opinion. Would love to see the same execution done for more characters.

you know what that sounds like......DCs ideas. and according to the shitty media, DC is "losing/failing" compared to marvel. lol

i watched the first 2 episodes of Daredevil last night, seems like they copied DC too in "grounding" the universe, with the tone as well. dark and realistic. not complaining, it seems great and i really enjoyed it, plan to watch the rest in the coming weeks.

my point being the medias "expert" analysis is all up its ass. when DC does it, they not doing it like marvel and are failing. when marvel does the exact same thing, somehow marvel knows what they are doing and DC should take notes. lol

Daredevil is nothing like Arrow or the Flash

Daredevil is supposed to be gritty and dark, even a little grounded since Daredevil isn't a superhero however the Green Arrow has always been light hearted and a little camp (boxing glove arrows)....Green Arrow didn't need it, Daredevil did.

That's my problem with Arrow, they made it into something they just borrowed off the Green Arrow, not an actually adaptation of Green Arrow it's self. It's grounded the first season then all of a sudden they change the tone with the introduction of the Flash.

@fox
i wasnt referring to flash and arrow specifically.

Batman started the whole grounded superhero thing.

and flash and arrow basically introduced new characters to see how public reacts before making a new show.

but i do agree with you, arrow has now kind of lost the plot with the introduction of the flash. initially there wasnt supposed to be any magic/supernatural elements in arrow but since the flash, thats gone out the window.

oh and like i said earlier, im only 2 episodes in daredevil so most of my comment is from the lil that i seen.

I really enjoyed Daredevil; I hope for more.

Wasn't there suppose to be a powerman and iron fist series on netflix. Yeah marvel is on top in cinematic and soon to be netflix. DC rules the tv series and movie animations, which I miss from marvel.

Personally I'd like to see Marvel do a Moon Knight series. It could be done like Daredevil but slightly darker

Critics have offered varied perspectives on the series. Some commend its darker tone and character-driven narrative, drawing parallels to the original Netflix series. However, others feel it falls short, citing issues like incoherence and an overreliance on CGI, which detracts from the grounded realism of the original.
