EW: EW has learned that the Blade Runner sequel has a new cast member: Barkhad Abdi. The Academy Award nominated actor, best known for his work in 2013’s Captain Phillips, joins Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Slyvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Dave Bautista, and, of course, Harrison Ford, who is reprising his role as Rick Deckard. Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) is directing, and the production starts shooting next month.
