TV Equals: On the season finale of “Elementary,” things came to a head as Holmes’ longtime sponsor, Alfredo Llamosa (Ato Essandoh) turned up missing under troubling circumstances, in “A Controlled Descent.” Had he fallen off the wagon? Was he involved in criminal activity, as posited by his former employers at Castle Security? Had he run off to be with his long distance girlfriend? Or was something even more nefarious afoot? This being the sort of show it is, one was tempted to lean towards the latter.
