TV Equals:" I’ve watched Arrow’s season finale twice now because I’m having a difficult time working out how to feel about it. It’s not that it was bad because it wasn’t. It just wasn’t great either. It felt more like a mid-season finale than a season finale and that’s kind of why I’m not sure how I feel about it. In order for a season finale to fall into what I consider the “great” category, it’s got to meet a few criteria. There has to be a satisfying resolution to the primary season long story arc; there has to be a satisfying amount of action and intrigue; and there has to be a serious cliffhanger that leaves me on the edge of my seat wondering what’s going to happen next. Arrow succeeded in some areas, but in others, not so much."
