IGN
Gotham had a good look, some solid leads, a really fun take on Penguin, and a lot of Easter Eggs to play with. But all too often it felt like a hodge-podge of every iteration of Batman that had come before it and unsuccessfully tried to merge dark and creepy with cartoonish and kooky. There were also consistency issues with regards to tone, story, and characterization.
TNS: "Despite years of mindless cash-ins and unimaginative copy-paste borefests, video game adaptations have finally turned a corner! Here are the best of the best."
The Nerd Stash: "Saddle your dragons, dear viewers, because House of the Dragon has unveiled a brand-new trailer for its second season, which is coming soon."
Hopefully one day our screens will be graced with live-action versions of these beloved cartoons.
6.8. Not surprised
With the low ratings and most of the episodes being average/below average I can't believe this got renewed...especially by FOX.
The show had a good concept they just didn't structure it well
Gotham had it's ups and downs I'll probably watch season 2 just cause it's on. I'll say tho this is by far the weakest in terms of what DC put out this season or comic book shows in general. It didn't exactly compel me to come back week after week. More often than not episodes were stacking up on my DVR.
