IGN: Silicon Valley’s latest, “The Lady,” took great strides to freshening up the cast of the show by addressing one of its primary criticisms – the fact that it’s a total sausage fest.
This season’s fourth episode added a new employee to Pied Piper, the gruff and brilliant Carla (Alice Wetterlund) all while offering an episode-long joke about gender politics in the work place. Jared’s (or, I should say, O.J.’s) well-meaning but awkward demeanor was particularly amusing in this context as he struggled to say the right things but only dug a deeper hole for himself (“I loved The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.”).
