Community "Grifting 101" Review - IGN

IGN: This episode took quite awhile to get going and there was something off about the pacing for a lot of it. It’s too bad though, because there were still some funny moments along the way – and what has to be a record for the most uses of the word “grift” in a half hour.
Matt Berry was very funny as the Grifting instructor, Professor DeSalvo, who was happy to make his class to mindless acts like swap suitcases the entire time – though in an episode with a ton of heavy handed nods to The Sting, I kind of wanted there to be some in-joke to Joel McHale having starred in a pilot for a failed US remake of The IT Crowd, the series Berry is best known for. But still, it was easy to laugh at stuff like DeSalvo missing the hat rack (repeatedly) while trying to act like it was all part of his mind games.
