As the end of the first season approaches, things are definitely heating up for The Flash. "The Trap" offered a great mix of twists and drama, with a lot oft he episode hinging on Dr. Wells and his mysterious goals. Along the way, the brief but effective flashbacks fleshed out several key characters. Yes, some of the material towards the middle came across as filler, but that did little to diminish the impact of this episode.
