CE: When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's all about synergy. 2012's The Avengers was a prime example — the culmination of five films spanning three years, four directors and four superhero franchises. Now, with the hotly-anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron, writer/director Joss Whedon is reassembling the superhero team. This time, Earth's Mightiest Heroes must stop Ultron, an artificially intelligent robot hellbent on the destruction of humanity. What follows is an action-packed globetrotting adventure that reunites moviegoers with characters like Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Falcon, while introducing new players like Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and the Vision. That's a lot to cram into one movie, but Whedon does make room for smaller character moments as well. The movie isn't perfect though. James Spader's chilling voice-work aside, Ultron is far too one-dimensional to make an impact as a truly fearsome villain; and the production suffers from an air of been-there-done-that, the novelty of seeing these heroes sharing the screen together having worn off a bit. All things considered, however, Whedon has done a remarkable job of keeping all the balls in the air. Age of Ultron is quite simply another solid effort from Marvel Studios, full of heart, a surprising amount of humor and tons of action. Not only that, it leaves moviegoers hungry for more.

Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
