To tell you honestly it wasn't what I had expected. Really enjoyed the film but also felt slightly disappointed.

I thought our heroes didn't suffer emotionally enough in the hands of the enemy ( Ultron ) and I also disliked Ultron's comical CGI mouth openings ( animation speak ).

It's got everything mind you, but thought the story just wasn't punchy enough.

Yeh, agreed.

It's a shame as things were so promising coming off Guardians Of The Galaxy and Captain America: Winter Soldier.

After watching a second time, I realised they cut quite a bit from the trailers. The main one I remember is Ultron creating his final form in molten vibranium that we didnt get to see. Would have been cool to watch.

RDJ and his quirky one liners did not disappoint lol

I really enjoyed it overall but your right... there was something missing or something that didnt quite feel right that I cant put my finger on... Maybe it didnt flow as smoothly as the 1st.

And Ultron didnt seem to come across as a mega villian. Needed to be more evil.

Will be interesting if they release a director's cut of some kind when it comes out on DVD/Bluray.

I have to imagine they left a ton of footage out during editing (maybe the Studio suits wanted more action and less expoistion or something).

Didnt they make a total mess of the the 1st Avengers bluray release? I think they left all the extras out. It was just the bare bones movie with even more cut from the theatrical release.. At least in the UK anyway.

So now Von Strucker is dead (which im gutted about because hes a badass in the comics and never got hardly any time on screen) and all apparent hydra bases have been destroyed... Is this the end of the hydra storyline now? I stopped watching Agents of shield, it got boring

Oh, and the reason banner didnt want to be with Black Widow is because if he hulked up mid sex, the hole he leaves behind would be devastating...

Yeh the Von Strucker thing felt like such an after thought, after this big tease in Captain America: Winter Soldier, like why would Ultron need to kill Von Strucker to leave a message? feels more like they just wanted to get rid of the character.

The Hulk/Widow thing was confusing, especially as when we last saw Banner, he was beginning to get the beast under control. And now it is the total opposite again. Felt more like a plot device to create drama.

Hmm I agree with everyone here! It was a great movie! But ffs for some reason it was a major letdown! And I just can't put my finger as to why!! Weather it was Loki missing or Ultron not making them suffer enough and not having that final form where he can feel like a real badass! I've got no idea! And I think the pace of the movie felt abit like fast and furious 7! Jumping from one scene to another! Without any flow!

Ultron was definitely not a menacing as the trailer made him out to me, which was disappointing.

And the threat of a town of people vs all of NY and the world in the first.

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were pretty unecessary. Still enjoyable, but flawed film.
