Nice! I wish I could have gone. :/

Anthotis3291d ago

Superman moves much faster than that.

I'll guess he's been depowered somehow, to give Ironbat a better chance.

acemonkey3291d ago

we all know that they are going mostly make batman win ( like they did in Dark knight returns/ Hush) but this time would end up them make the JL after they realize theres bigger threats then each other. But gonna take a lot more then them too looking at each other and charging at each other to get me hyped i could watch that in dark knight returns now.

Porcelain_Chicken3291d ago

I highly doubt it. Superman has got a lot to prove in this movie. I can see him convincing Batman that he ain't the bad guy everyone paints him to be if he has a chance to finish him off but doesn't. Also lest we forget Snyder did say this was primarily a Superman movie. It has almost all of the Man Of Steel supporting characters. Also, if Batman wins this nothing he faces in a future solo will feel like a challenge. Long story short, I believe Superman wins, i guarantee it! :D

It will be interesting to see how they weaken Superman in this movie. Keep in mind, no mention of kryptonite weakening Superman in Man of Steel.

Soldierone3291d ago

^I don't think you need to "weaken" Superman, you just need to make Batman stronger. That suit he is wearing during his speech in the trailer could be made of some awesome armor to take the beating for example, and they can get creative with his tactics and weapons.

I mean Batman now needs to compete with the whole JL, so simply pulling out Kryptonite won't do.

Plus as Chicken suggested they need to look ahead. Batman can't "win" but at the same time he can't figure out how to make Superman weak otherwise villains like Lex Luthor should be able to figure it out too.

frelyler3290d ago

Kryptonite, takes away his powers, that's how.

MasterD9193291d ago

With Lex & Batman in this film, it only makes sense that would be a Kryptonite-suit...Superman wouldn't be able to fly and would at least be an equal to Batman at that point.

deadpoolio3163291d ago

Have you not read The Dark Knight Returns or watched the animated film of it at least....The only thing that doesn't make sense is how anyone is going to get any kryptonite to weaken him since nobody knows that even exists yet

boing13291d ago

They did the 'atmosphere' thing instead of kryptonite in Man of Steel. I would be susprised if it's kryptonite based.

GTgamer3291d ago (Edited 3291d ago )

Kryptonite doesn't make superman equal to batman when he barely is able to function the supes is inpain when Kryptonite is around he's hardly able to move so yeah.

64commando3291d ago

This is going to be such a bad movie

KingPin3291d ago

and yet you will still go watch it.

xkvcq3290d ago

I, on the other hand, will not :p

acemonkey3291d ago (Edited 3291d ago )

@chicken. superman winning by how? i didnt mean batman would win as beat him " as remember the one man that beat you" i can see them fighting and in the middle of it Lex would drop an super villain on top of them and they both will team up and fight it lol... to me winning would be 100% without question beat it be like a draw or NC due to somebody interfering. but we see more when it come along

Soldierone3291d ago

This may be the case. The craft of writing a hero-vs-hero story is to give each side a time period where they are "winning" but overall never make one win over the other.

Looking at DC vs Marvel comic event, they never made one (major) hero completely KO the other. That leaves the audience to debate "who won" in their opinion. Hopefully that is what happens with this film. "Batman won!" "No, Superman was totally kicking his butt!"
