IGN: The show got really dark really fast this week, as Ra’s al Ghul’s war against Team Arrow left them reeling and forced Ollie to make some tough decisions. Finally we’ve reached a point where Season 3 has that same sense of desperation and mounting dread that characterized the second half of Season 2. Maybe the show could have done a better job of building to this point over the long run, but at least the end result is paying off.
