411 Mania - "In the end, ‘The Offer’ provides some cool moments, but is also all over the place tonally and plotwise. I love the opening focus on the actual proposal, yet the story does not live up to the epic beginning. And I will not even go into the flashback scenes, which are a complete waste of time – the shocking twist this week feels like a cheap attempt to make it interesting again. Still, I am reasonably excited to see where the rest of the season goes and am far from writing the show off."
