Deadline: Lina Esco (Cane) has booked a role in Fox’s drama pilot Lucifer, from Jerry Bruckheimer TV and Warner Bros TV. Based on the characters from the DC Entertainment’s Vertigo, the show centers on Lucifer (Tom Ellis) who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals. Esco will play Lucifer’s best friend Maze, a fierce demon in the form of a beautiful young woman. Her TV credits include CSI, Drop Dead Diva and the miniseries Heroes: Destiny. Esco also directed, co-wrote and appeared in the 2014 feature Free The Nipple. Repped by CAA and Luber Roklin, she next appears in HBO’s Open.
