Deadline:
Tickets just went on sale yesterday at Fandango and MovieTickets.com for Lionsgate’s sequel The Divergent Series: Insurgent, however, sources tell Deadline that the film is heading for a $57M three-day box office opening during its March 20-22 weekend. The estimate does not take into account advance ticket sales, but is based off industry tracking. Total awareness is high across men and women, however, females under 25 are showing the strongest interest at 83%. Total awareness for teens 12-16 is at 77%, however, girls in that demo are trending at 80%.
Insurgent will also get an extra boost from its play in IMAX theaters. That number ranks just slightly higher than the first Divergent which made $54.6M last March in its first frame before finaling at a 2.76x multiple with $150.9M. Worldwide Divergent generated $288.7M.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
Rest In Peace Review: A man in debt disappears. Years later, he considers reconnecting with his family, but his previous life takes him by surprise.
