IGN: Amazon's new series Bosch stars Titus Welliver (Deadwood, Lost, Sons of Anarchy) as the titular Hieronymus 'Harry' Bosch, a hardened LAPD homicide detective who was, in a sense, raised by Los Angeles itself, growing up as part of the city's damaged foster care system. Bosch comes to us now as a full 10-episode season, having been picked up by Amazon last March based on the "Pilot Season" performance of its first episode. The show is adapted from the pages of award-winning crime novelist Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch book series, which rests at over a dozen strong.
