The brilliant Back To The Future franchise is one of the most popular in movie history. As a result of its success, the time travelling exploits of Marty McFly and Doc Brown have spawned an animated television series, various video games, comics, books and an upcoming stage musical to celebrate its thirtieth anniversary. And, most importantly with regards to this particular article, a hell of a lot of discussion.

If you’ve ever had a fantasy about time travel, chances are it’s been sparked by Back To The Future. Even if the scenario in your head is in no way related to hitting on your mother’s younger self or fighting cowboys, then the mechanics of you how you get back to that point (you sicko) have been the same as they are in Robert Zemeckis’s classic trilogy of blockbuster sci-fi films. The rules of time travel as they exist in Back To The Future are by no means watertight or foolproof, but they were never meant to be. They’re just fun films. That’s why they can be applied to day dreams so easily.

Soo good to see (Scott Pilgrim) on the list, it totally deserves it, highly under-appreciated movie this Year.
I liked the movie too. Much better than the other movie about being the facebook guy.
The Back to the Future set and Alien set would be a great item to have. Some of the best movies ever. The first 2 films from each series especially.
I am a big fan of 'Back to the Future', i have the DVD version of the 3 movies but i never really felt like upgrading it to the Blu-Ray.
I loved BTTF. I always will have the VHS for it. Still in mint condition. Always watch it after long periods of time. But, I will most likely get the Blu Ray version.
Back to the Future, Inception, Toy Story 3, Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Beauty and the Beast are ALL great movies to buy/own on Blu Ray or DVD this year! :)
I own all of them, Except 'Back to the Future', & i couldn't agree more, Plus add Toy Story 1 & 2 to the list.
Premiere: A high-school student (Michael J. Fox) and quirky scientist (Christopher Lloyd) travel to the 1950s, the future, and the old west in a time machine built out of a DeLorean.
Been hearing nothing but positive stuff for the release lol. I think Ill be picking it up as a Christmas present to someone that loves the series more than I do.
