Superman Gets A Bond-Like Makeover In More New The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Stills

CBM

By now, you should have seen the stylish first trailer for Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (you can see it here if you missed it), but if you need further proof that Man of Steel's Henry Cavill should be the next 007, hit the jump to check out this latest batch of stills...

This really just shows you how good Henry would be as Bond. Who knows he may do it in the far, far future.

Porcelain_Chicken3359d ago

Agreed! He looks spot on!! He was actually almost Bond back before Daniel Craig. Unfortunately they felt he looked too young lol. He was the writer of the Twilight books first choice to play Edward in the movie but by the time production go rolling they felt Henry looked too old. Thank god lol.

Well he's only 31 now so even if they have another James Bond trilogy with a new actor he could still probably play Bond when he's 40

He seems like the person who will age well.

So yeah either get him to be Bond next or wait untill the next actor leaves. By then the Superman stuff will of hopefully passed

Crazay3359d ago

Ya he'd be a competent James Bond for sure and would be pushing 40s by the time it came around so the timing may work.

Doesn't Guy Ritchie want this to become a franchise? I doubt they'd want him to do another spy movie simultaneously. And he won't be done with Superman for a while as he's expressed interest in sticking with the character as long as he can. If the DCCU and the U.N.C.L.E franchises do take off he'll be tied to two big franchises for quite a while!

They should just get Idris Elba for Bond. LOL. Jk.

I never considered this but I would totally pull for it!
