Maybe I am a bit spoiled when it comes to sci-fi films because of what has come before – and given that this film takes many points from two of the most iconic series in that genre to boot – but a bad film is a bad film, no matter what the subject is and this film does little to try and entertain the audience or deliver on the intended goodness that it promises in the first third of the story."
