Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the ground-breaking series known for its wit, great characters and – of course – its iconic female lead, should by rights be consigned to TV history books, but due to the show’s popularity being so huge it has never really gone away. She may have staked her last on-screen vampire nearly twelve years ago (now you feel old) but the adventures of Buffy Summers and her friends are still being told to this day through the official comic book continuation of the show and there are always rumours of a reboot of the franchise.
