WC: The Star Wars Expanded Universe is dead.. .long live the Sequel Trilogy. With the long awaited seventh instalment in the Star Wars Saga, The Force Awakens, there was hardly anywhere to take the story with an extensive future of novels, games, and comics outlining the future of everyone’s favourite Rebels, Jedis, and Siths that wouldn’t be highly predictable and constrained by years of canon and expectations. While this leaves millions cheering for the newly resurrected Chewbacca it also leaves room for speculation about which elements from the newly dubbed “Star Wars Legends” line might be thrown into Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
