411 Mania - "‘The Fearsome Dr. Crane’ is a huge step forward from last week, but that does not mean it is particularly noteworthy. I liked how Harvey is front and center and his character actually showed a little bit of depth: something he has been lacking for majority of the first season. On top of this, some of the smaller storylines took some good steps forward: the Thompkins and Bruce Wayne additions to be specific. Unfortunately, tonight suffers from some poorly executed ideas: I’m sure a man dressed like a pig and Mooney running at a pirate looked good on paper, yet it is visually cheesy. These absurd moments need to go if Gotham ever wants to be taken seriously as a quality product."
