Project Almanac, produced by Michael Bay and directed by Dean Israelite, is yet another low budget found-footage film laden with sci-fi elements centering around a group of obnoxious high-school kids acting out their impulses while their events are filmed on shaky cams. Made on a $12 million budget, the film revolves around David Raskin (Jonny Weston) and his sister Chris (Virginia Gardner) and three friends: Adam, Quinn and his longtime crush Jessie as they videotape their journey and experiences with temporal dislocation (that’s time travel for those who don’t know what that means).
