Turns out Cooper is hoping to make his directorial debut on the movie. The American Sniper star certainly is branching out; aside from producing American Sniper, he has been starring on Broadway in The Elephant Man and soon takes that to the West End. It is one of several projects Cooper is eyeing as a potential directing vehicle. He’s repped by CAA.
