CB: In spite of the fact that they've kept the references to the Incredible Hulk's standalone films to a minimum since the Avengers all started hanging out together in 2012, it appears Marvel considered bringing back The Abomination for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
This follows the story within a story rule.
Would be nice if they acknowledged it a little more. That movie already feels very disconnected as is, and continuity with it feels very broken. With a second Hulk movie nowhere in sight any sort of connection to that would be nice. Since we won't even see what became of The Leader for a while i'd at least like for Betty to come back. With Liv Tyler still playing her of course.
As the Marvel One Shot The Consultant teased Abomination's return I think that there would be room for Abomination to appear in Captain America: Civil War and fight for Stark maybe.
Isn't it too late to have him in Age of Ultron? Avengers 2 filming was completed back in August
I think Marvel was either delayed in it due to contract disputes, or they were simply afraid or didn't know what to do with it. If they bring characters back, do actors come to, etc... what story do they tell?
Hulk in general felt very distant from the movie as is.
